'carousel left' 'carousel right' Champagne is the drink of choice when it comes to celebrations and parties but more that, it’s also a wine that has been greatly appreciated for generations around the world. In a toast to everyone’s favourite bubbly, the Ordre des Coteaux de Champagne, the official fraternity of major Champagne brands, held its 5th Grand Chapitre in Singapore at the Shangri-La Hotel with 88 invited guests. The biennial event in May commenced with the grand induction of 28 new chevaliers by the Commandeur of the Ordre, Antoine Roland-Billecart. After his speech, Roland-Billecart, bearing the traditional conical flask pomponne, knighted French ambassador Benjamin Dubertret to represent his position as the Officier L’Honneur. To bring the night to a sweet end, guests were treated to a four-course dinner paired with exquisite champagnes from various houses. © 2022 Tatler Asia Limited. All rights reserved. Pourquoi je me transforme ?
